This 50 Watt head has 2 channels and is switchable from 50 W pentode to 25 W triode. The signal path is all tubes even the reverb is tube driven. It’s power is derived from two El 34 tubes.
With the use of an independent or interactive EQ section you can create a lot of great sounds. Independent means that you can selectively boost and cut one frequency without effecting the other. The interactive is like a conventional EQ setting. The mid control acts independent in each mode. Since both channels share the the same 3 band EQ, a contour control was added to allow the player to shape the midrange frequency on the lead channel. There is a separate level control for this channel to adjust the output level.
The channel select button allows the player to manually select between the two channels. When the optional foot switch is plugged in the front panel channel select button is bypassed. The amp has one 16 Ohm, two 8 Ohm and two 4 ohm speaker outputs.
The speaker cabinet is a 4 x 12, 16 Ohm. Power rating is 280 Watt.
